Welcome to the Flook official feedback forum. Do you have an idea? Do you recognize a good idea when you see one? Then we want to hear from you! If you suggest an idea that is in our roadmap for our App Store release, we will change the idea’s status to “complete” so you can get your votes back.

A third-party developer is playing around with our API and if he has fun we may have some good news for you!

On the website, let me see who is following and collecting me
Under my flook score there are three clickable buttons respectively:
-Collected
-Collectors
-FollowersWhen I click on the links I would expected to be taken to pages which show me the following (respectively):
-Which of my cards have been collected
- Who are my collectors
- Who my followers areBut instead I get parked on the 'Got A Question?' page every time http://flook.it/support/faq/#flook-score

This will come next time we re-visit the card creator which won’t be the next release but will be at some future point in time if you excuse the slight vagueness!

Let me make a card that only reveals its secret when you are nearby.
I want you to come to the location before you get my message, or see my photo. I'd like to be able to whet your appetite without giving the game away.
I would really like to be able to set either the photo or the main description on a card to reveal only when you get within a very close range of the card. Perhaps once you have visited the card's location you would always be able to see the content.

flook to prompt a flooker of interesting places when they are near to the cards location
maybe this is one of the features might help the flookers to search for a gud place to eat.... visit... etc.... and offcourse the flooker will have the option to allow this to be activated...

allow people to link from one card to another
would be good to be able to say "oh that reminds me of THIS card" or "already flooked THIS which is relevant"

Let us 'like' a card without collecting it.
So we can let other flookers know that we appreciate their flooking but for one reason or a other don't need/want to collect it.
It's good to have feedback so we know if we are providing a useful service or wasting our/your time.

Msg box where the flookers can text each other to exchange info. especially between the followers
cuzz i think its important for a flooker to know the details of a card in order for him / her to go to the place of interest shown by other flooker... such as how to get there... mode of transport... how to book for tix... how to reserve for hotels... whether the place is safe to be visited... etc etc... but if flook is not so keen of doing this... then I suggest flook to guide the flookers on that...

Nice idea, thanks very much for that!

flook.it/Community needs 'most popular'?
as well as seeing the best flookers' cards, and the most recent cards by anyone, another thing (perhaps the most important thing) that potential new users want to see would be 'most popular cards' - ie 'most collected'

Preference to stop Flook from adding photos to the camera roll.
Add a new preference that would allow me to stop Flook from adding photos to the camera roll.
It annoys me, because I always have to delete those photos again.
(I don't need any photos of places in my home town.)

create mobile web app that allows you to see local flook cards
create mobile web app that allows you to see local flook cards from postcode/placename searches.
This could accelerate the build up of community around the service. It would allow people without iphones see recommended local flooks to them.
7 votesThere is now a mobile friendly version of the flook single card view.

Easily flip photo between Portrait and Landscape
Would it not be very handy to let the user say "flip the picture between Portrait and Landscape", and just have the template adjust accordingly?
I keep taking a particular photo with my iphone landscape, but pointing downwards at the surface I'm photographing (it's something on a table, so I'm above it), and the iPhone can't detect I'm landscape. (I tilted the iphone back a bit from the horizontal, but still no joy). So, if you take a landscape pic of something from above, you're screwed? ISTM so, here: the iPhone decides it's Portrait, and Flook goes with that.
Just… more
7 votesI have also seen this behavior, we tried to be smart about this but agreed there are times it catches us out. We will discuss this internally and see if there is anything we can do about it when we build on the card creator.

Add video capability
At some stage having a video option would be pretty cool,

related
How about a Flookette feature that allows us to 'relate' cards. If for instance I want more than one card associated to a single event or place, I could engage a flookbot on the first card that would take me to the series. A good example would be those elephant cards that were flooked. They could have been grouped. Another cool use would be say I was at a mall or carnival or zoo. I could flook the main card and relate subsequent cards to it. You may have a fllokbot 1st card option that would label that card as… more

Create and follow card sets
It would be great if you could create a set and people could follow that specific set (as with flickr). It would work really well for following specific themed routes e.g "blue plaques of East London" or "historical pub crawl"

Portrait View - See Multiple Pictures and Commentss
Have a play with the new Stocks app on v3 of iPhone. When in Portrait mode, I can see multiple stocks at the top and news/quotes/details at the bottom. Turning the phone landscape gives you a more detailed view of the quote history.
It would be good if the Flook app did something similar in Portrait View => Let me see one/many cards at the top (maybe with text being picture title) and the details/comments at the bottom. Then when I turn iPhone to Landscape I would see the Card up close (and would need to flip over to see… more
6 votesWe can do this, of course we can. But if you want it that bad you need to shout for it a little louder, we can only get so much in for our appstore release, and this seems like something we can look at after we have built out more core functionality. Might I also point you to this thread: http://ambientindustries.uservoice.com/pages/18492-general/suggestions/251185-i-d-like-to-zoom-out-to-see-a-grid-of-cards – Does that encompass the same thing?

Be able to undo when you delete or flag a card.
I have already accidentally flagged cards that I had originally collected for my own. Now I can't find it anymore.

I understand and appreciate what you’re saying. The reason we put flag there is we knew mishits were likely, and this is one of the few things that doesn’t go to the server. Imagine how annoying it would be to do something that starts a spinner and waits hours – and is also potentially undoable. We thought you’d easily be able to cancel out of the flag dialog, but maybe not :-)

Planing a trip and finding corresponding cards
While planning a trip and with iPhone Location Services disabled I'd love to be able to popup a worldwide map, zero in on my intended destination, and see the cards in that area so that I might find some interesting places, clubs, etc. to visit when I get to my destination.

We did plan remote browsing with our forth coming search robot release, but decided we needed more time to deliver the UI we wanted. Please weigh in with your votes

Can there be a card of the month ?
Could be most collected, most commented on,chosen by you or some other way. I love the Flooker of the month but this would be a way of recognising a great Flook. Doesn't need to be a prize perhaps a crown on your user name for the month.

Hi there – we’ve thought of this too – that means it’s a great idea! Once again, it probably needs our v2 UI (we run out of robot space) so we’ll consider how it fits in then. It might make an appearance on the web before then though.
